- Make a list of 6 people you admire. Write down the qualities that you admire them for, about 5-8 for each.
- Ask 3 people you trust to describe you. Add those words to your list of qualities.
- Using the quality list created in the exercise above, write a draft of your mission statement,
- Feel free to use one of the four templates in the Resources & Links section below
- Keep the rough draft for two weeks and read it every day. Make notes and edits as needed.
- Ask a few people you trust if they feel that mission statement fits you. Write the “final” version down and put it somewhere you can see it.
